ABOUT THE PROGRAM

TED University PhD Program in Architecture aims to question the epistemological foundations and quality of the knowledge produced in the field of architecture and contribute to the definition and mapping of architectural knowledge.

Sedat Sağlam, (third-year student in the Department of Architecture) won First Prize in the international architectural competition "Reinterpreting Tradition: Contemporary Insights Towards Buttoned Houses' Technique." This competition was organized in collaboration with the INTBAU Grassroots program, Antalya Bilim University, and the Mediterranean Freelance Architects Association.

For detailed information: 

First organized in 2014 by the Turkish Association of Freelance Architects (TSMD) Architecture Center and now in its tenth edition, the TSMD Architecture Students Project Exhibition "Basamaklar" will open its doors to visitors on February 24, 2025, at Cermodern. Curated by Hasan Okan Çetin and supported by Reo Tek and FLOW Digital Studio, the exhibition is made possible with the contributions of Dalsan, Kalebodur, Mapei, Samet, and Tepe Betopan.

The "Architectures of Care" research exhibition/forum of the ARCH 502 graduate studio, led by studio instructors Prof. Dr. Berin Gür and Alper Al, was held on June 13, 2024 at 12:30 PM in E314.

TEDU MArch | PhD 2023-2024 Spring Semester ARCH 591 and ARCH 691 Pre-Thesis Seminar presentations took place on 11 June 2024, 09:30-12:30 @ E312.

TEDU ARCH KICK-OFF Meeting was held on Sept 24, in the Multi-Purpose Hall.

Following the welcome speech and introduction of the TEDU ARCH undergraduate and graduate studios, Cem Sorguç delivered the opening lecture of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Our graduate Can Kayaaslan won the first prize in the Critical Readings in Architecture 10: University Students Text Competition 2024 organized by the Architects Association 1927, titled “Enter a prompt here: The command line as an architectural possibility.”
