Basamaklar 2024 Student Projects Exhibition

First organized in 2014 by the Turkish Association of Freelance Architects (TSMD) Architecture Center and now in its tenth edition, the TSMD Architecture Students Project Exhibition "Basamaklar" will open its doors to visitors on February 24, 2025, at Cermodern. Curated by Hasan Okan Çetin and supported by Reo Tek and FLOW Digital Studio, the exhibition is made possible with the contributions of Dalsan, Kalebodur, Mapei, Samet, and Tepe Betopan.
"Basamaklar", which showcases the creative projects of architecture students, is excited to celebrate its tenth anniversary this year. Bringing together architecture students from universities in Ankara, the " Basamaklar " Exhibition highlights the current dynamics of architectural education with the participation of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Atılım University, Başkent University, Bilkent University, Çankaya University, Gazi University, Middle East Technical University, TED University, and TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
Beyond exhibiting projects from 2024, the " Basamaklar " Exhibition also presents the historical accumulation of Ankara's architecture schools, the ten-year evolution of the "Steps" exhibitions, and the creative journeys of architecture students. To mark this special anniversary, the event invites not only the students whose projects will be exhibited in 2024 but also all participants from previous years, offering a meaningful retrospective on the past decade of architectural education.
Following the opening on February 24, the exhibition will be open for free viewing every Wednesday and Saturday until March 22. The sessions, held at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM, will accommodate groups of 50 people and last approximately 30 minutes.
